Promotional leaflets and / or samples handed out on campus.

Most student marketing agencies offer advertisers a leafleting or sampling service of some kind but clients’ comments suggest that the quality of the service provided varies enormously.

As with other types of on-campus marketing, what really matters is having reliable staff to monitor campaigns and additional staff to implement them. The SMGroup provides clients with this level of support via its network of Head Office, Regional and local contacts.

Apart from the obvious need for professional delivery of leafleting campaigns, the other key issue, as with all on-campus activity, is maintaining a good relationship with the university and students’ union. All the activity carried out by the SMGroup is fully authorised by the relevant university and/or students’ union.

Leafleting campaigns can work well for clients across a variety of sectors. However, it’s important to give some thought to the best location(s) on campus - it can make a significant difference to the results in our experience.
